ACT: Environment and Climate

Held in Ayr, and hosted by Heather Parry, this event asked how projects that put artists and creative freelancers at their heart are exploring different models of recruitment, governance, leadership and working practices?

Held in Hawick with host Tomiwa Folorunso, this event considered the experiences of working in multilingual communities, prioritising minoritised languages, and embracing languages other than English as a vibrant influence in our community and creative lives.

LOCATE: Scotland’s places

Our last event, hosted in Hawick by Emma Jayne Park, LOCATE asked how the geographic diversity of our villages, towns and cities influences our experience of community and creativity, and how might those differences be reflected in the emergence of distinctive creative projects?
