Across the first 18 months of Culture Collective, we will be recruiting some 250 roles across the network. While all these roles are listed on our Culture Collective Opportunities page (and on Creative Scotland’s Opportunities site), we’re very aware of the need to reach beyond the usual suspects to make sure our recruitment is as open as possible.

To tackle this head on, we held an open call-out on Twitter to understand where people go to look for adverts for creative job roles across a range of regions and different parts of the sector. We have primarily focused on roles in Scotland, but we’ve also included UK-wide sites where they came up regularly in people’s search habits. We’ve aimed to capture sites that specifically aim to reach those with disabilities, or who are otherwise unrepresented in the workforce. We’ve also flagged where sites charge fees to advertise roles.

This is an ever-growing list, and we’re always open to suggested additions, especially of sites that play an important regional (rather than Scotland-wide) role, or which are frequently used by people who might not be well represented in creative roles.

We hope this is a useful resource for:

  • People advertising jobs: to reach more potential applicants, and a more diverse applicant pool.
  • People looking for jobs: to spot more jobs that might be of interest to you, or a good fit for your skills.
